Commitments

Reproductive Health Supplies Coalition (RHSC)/Advocacy and Accountability Working Group (RMAWG) committed to convening country-level consultations in the world’s poorest countries to identify the most pressing policy barriers that restrict service delivery and access in each country and jointly define effective actions to address these barriers. Focusing on civil society engagement and national government, RMAWG has raised awareness, mobilized resources, driven policy change and implementation, and held governments and donors accountable for their commitments at both the global and national level. Their work has been effective in influencing government leadership in Nigeria, Uganda, Burkina Faso, and other commitment making countries to produce tangible results alongside CSOs and other national players committed to furthering family planning initiatives.
