FP2020 works with governments, civil society, multilateral organizations, donors, the private sector, and the research and development community to enable 120 million more women and girls to use contraceptives by 2020. The Secretariat, hosted by the UN Foundation, is responsible for the implementation of day-to-day activities.
Applicants interested in a position with FP2020 must submit a current resume and cover letter online through the UN Foundation careers portal. Please note, your application will not be considered without the submission of a cover letter.
Only applications submitted through the UN Careers portal will be considered. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, as per UN Foundation policy.
Once an online profile is completed, you are able to apply for multiple jobs – with FP2020 and with the UN Foundation – at any given time.
Manager, Francophone Countries
Location: Washington, DC
The Francophone Countries Manager will execute against FP2020’s strategic approach for engagement with this regional portfolio, including current and potential commitment-making countries. This approach supports coordination and problem solving at the country/regional level, with the overarching goal to enhance the ability of women and girls to access and use family planning information and services in line with country-identified priorities. The Manager reports to the Country Support Director and will supervise the Senior Associate for Francophone Countries.
