In 2017, Blue Ventures committed to increasing access to family planning services for communities living in remote areas of high biodiversity, in a total of seven FP2020 focus countries. By implementing a holistic approach to community health and environmental conservation (often known as the Population-Health-Environment or PHE approach) and strengthening PHE partnerships, Blue ventures aims to bring family planning services to Madagascar, Mozambique, Kenya, Tanzania, Indonesia, Timor-Leste, and the Comoros by 2020.
