In 2017, the Belgian government made their first FP2020 commitment of over EUR55 million to support the work of UNFPA and the Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF). Belgium also joined the call for the Global Roadmap for data, monitoring, and accountability for family planning and sexual and reproductive health in humanitarian crises. The government is currently working on a project to allow smarter investment in family planning and to provide funding to establish a data monitoring platform for family planning services in low-income settings.
